Detective Story (1951)
Based on the Broadway play by Sidney Kingsley, director William Wyler’s influential crime drama details a day in the life of a New York City police precinct led by hard-nosed detective Jim McLeod (Kirk Douglas). Bang The Drum Slowly (1973)
