Fear and Desire

Stanley Kubrick's feature directing bow came with this once-thought-lost, little-seen indie that tracks the travails of a quartet of soldiers crash-landed deep within hostile territory. Their bid to make their way to safety is compromised by a local woman's stumbling upon their presence, as well as their discovery of an enemy general's nearby encampment.
