As Nami suffers the hell of prison, she survives by dreaming of revenge and takes the name Sasori (Scorpion). Yayoi Watanabe co-stars. In the follow-up "Female Prisoner Scorpion, Jailhouse 41" (1972), Nami (Kaji) rejoins the other inmates after a year-long(!) stint in solitary, Nami promptly attacks the abusive warden, bringing more punishment on herself. With Fumio Watanabe. Next, Nami (Kaji) escapes from prison in "Female Prisoner Scorpion: Beast Stable" (1973). The third entry in the series kicks the ultraviolence up a few notches when Nami's murder of a pimp arouses the ire of Yakuza gangsters who take her hostage and torture her. Watanabe, Reisen Lee co-star. Finally, Kaji slices and dices for the fourth and final time in "Female Prisoner Scorpion: 701's Grudge Song" (1973), as Nami partners up with a shady man to exact revenge on a corrupt lawman. Masakazu Tamura, Yumi Kanei also star. 6 hrs. total on 4 discs. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: Japanese Uncompressed PCM mono; Subtitles: English; featurettes; interviews; theatrical trailers.
