CD contains scores from 3 award winning documentaries: Mineral King, Father Pat, Celebrations and the feature Git! 1964's Git! Was the first feature film composed by Phillip Lambro. Mineral King earned Lambro a National Board of Review award for best music for a documentary film. Another doc, Father Pat, told the story of Father Patrick Peyton. Lambro was able to record with a 60-piece orchestra to perform the score. Narrated by Ben Gazzara. Celebration is a look at the various forms of celebrations in the USA. Because of the various cultures featured in Celebration, Lambro was able to expand into a variety of musical styles to reflect the different types of cultures in the film.
