Wacky Canadian/British comedy finds cops Kopek (John Candy) and Broom (Lawrence Dane) assigned to track down a young woman whose apparent kidnapping leads to one comic complication after another. While the initial abduction was a fake to begin with, the crooks actually grab the wrong girl, and the original target takes off with her boyfriend--and really does get kidnapped.
