Director Michael Lehmann ("Heathers") helms this quirky comedy about a struggling musician (Aaron Stanford) whose day job as manager of a hip cereal bar is put in jeopardy when a corporate-sponsored competitor opens across the street. Stanford’s problems aren’t helped much by his girlfriend (Zooey Deschanel), who joins forces with his money-hungry rival in an effort to get him to focus on his music.
