Out-of-work musicians Jean (Fernand Gravey) and Pierre (Julien Carette) hit upon a solution to their money woes when an all-female orchestra looks for replacements, and they don drag to win the jobs. Things get really dicey when, dressed in mufti, they fall into a rivalry over the band's beautiful lead singer (Betty Stockfeld)!
