Gayne Ballet

Aram Khachaturian's Cold War-era masterwork, a four-act ballet from 1942, celebrates life on a Soviet farm collective with the simple story of a young woman who prevents a spy from breaching army territories. This production choreographed by Boris Eifman reworks the original narrative to focus on the relationships between the principal characters.
