Washed-up race car driver Brent Magna (Ethan Hawke) receives a phone call from a mysterious man calling himself "the Voice" (Jon Voight) who gives him a set of instructions to follow if he ever wants to see his kidnapped wife again. Stealing a custom Shelby Mustang, Magna takes the car's young owner (Selena Gomez) on a desperate race against time to save his wife's life.
