Distinguished character actor Sebastian Cabot performed hosting duties while the scary stories boasted an array of memorable guest stars, including Melvyn Douglas, Jodie Foster, Helen Hayes, Carolyn Jones, Jason Robards. The series’s title was changed mid-season to "Circle of Fear" and binned good ol’ Mr. French.
