A small and stubborn Bulgarian village facing the Turkish border has been resisting foreign invaders since the times of the Roman and Ottoman Empires. Now, it's electorate of 38 elderly Bulgarians is deciding future of Europe. The Great Gate (as the village has been called for centuries, due to it's location on the doorsteps of the former Ottoman Empire) has found itself in the middle of European crisis as people seeking asylum sneak across the border in the nighttime, causing fear and unrest. Once again, the sleepy and forgotten village has become the most important secret loophole in Europe. Postman Ivan has a new political vision: he decides to run for mayor in order to bring the dying village to life by welcoming refugees. His opponents are only interested in closing their eyes to the refugees, shutting the border and reintroducing communism. While on the campaign trail his delivery route Ivan learns that good intentions are not enough, and that even the smallest deeds matter. This Blu-ray features the official trailer from THE GOOD POSTMAN, surround sound and comes in Bulgarian with English subtitles.
