Following the death of his mother and the departure of his father overseas, 12-year-old Arizonan Mark Evans (Elijah Wood) is left in the care of his aunt and uncle in Maine for the winter. There, Mark meets his cousin Henry (Macauley Culkin), a death-obsessed "bad seed" with dark secrets and a frightening sadistic streak, who seems to know a bit too much about the mysterious death of his younger brother, Richard. Wendy Crewson, David Morse, Quinn Culkin, and Daniel Hugh Kelly co-star. 86 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1.
