In the mid-’20s, British author A.A. Milne (Domhnall Gleason)--still troubled by the traumas of his WWI service--found solace in his relationship with his young son Christopher Robin (Will Tilston), and inspiration from the boy’s beloved stuffed menagerie. By the time a decade passed, however, the phenomenal success of Winnie-the-Pooh would find the father frustratingly pigeonholed in his aspirations, and his teenager (Alex Lawther) bitterly resentful of his literary counterpart. Telling, effective biodrama co-stars Margot Robbie, Kelly Macdonald. 107 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.
