While organizing his 25-year college reunion, conservative Boston businessman Harry Pulham (Robert Young) looks back on his life, remembering how he passed up a chance at love with unconventional copywriter Marvin Myles (Hedy Lamarr) in favor of a future with a more traditional and dutiful wife (Ruth Hussey). Seeing Marvin for the first time in years, v must come to grips with the lack of fulfillment he feels about his life. Charles Coburn, Van Heflin also star; look for Ava Gardner. 120 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
