Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle / Harold &
Pothead pals Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) attempt to satiate their latest bout of the munchies with a "slider run" in "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" (2004). Their seemingly simple burger jaunt turns into an all-night mission when a series of hilarious obstacles sends them searching all over New Jersey. With Neil Patrick Harris as himself. Then, the riotous follow-up "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" (2008) finds the boys' (Cho and Penn) trip to Amsterdam hitting a snag when they're mistaken for terrorists and they wind up prisoners at Gitmo. Harris also stars. And, even though the stoner buddies have drifted apart, it's still "A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas" (2011) when Kumar (Penn) destroys the beloved Christmas tree belonging to Harold's (Cho) overbearing father-in-law (Danny Trejo), and the guys have to team up to replace it. Harris co-stars. 4 3/4 hrs. total on three discs. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English; Subtitles: English (SDH), Spanish; deleted scenes; outtakes; featurette; interview; audio commentary; music video.
