Harvest Time

Set on a farm collective in 1950s Russia, this poetic and humorous drama follows the travails of Antonina (Lyudmila Motornaya), an industrious tractor operator. With her husband severely crippled, Antonina's work must support the entire family. She finds the reward of a large, red flag from the State an additional burden as its mandatory display proves particularly appetizing to rodents.
