High Rise

Newly divorced doctor Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) was looking for a fresh start when he moved into the looming new contained residential complex where society’s poorer strata occupied the lower floors, and the wealthiest--including the structure’s enigmatic architect (Jeremy Irons)--resided above. A few power failures, however, are all it takes to stoke class warfare and a state of chaos that may claim them all. Ben Wheatley’s compelling take on the J.G.
