Hollywood Cavalcade

Set during the waning days of Hollywood's silent era, this bittersweet romantic comedy stars Alice Faye as Molly Adair, a struggling actress and singer who becomes a star thanks to young film director Michael Connors (Don Ameche). Their relationship becomes strained and their mutual affection remains unspoken through Molly’s marriage to a co-star and Michael’s career ups and downs, until they're brought back together on the set of his first talkie.
