Producer Aaron Spelling's 1983-88 drama series, based on the novel by Arthur Hailey, chronicled the professional and personal lives of the staff and guests at San Francisco's swanky (and fictional) St. Gregory Hotel. Joining the eclectic succession of weekly guest stars was Anne Baxter as upper-crust boss Victoria Cabot, James Brolin as general manager Peter McDermott, and Connie Sellecca as promotions manager Christine Francis.
