A German-American student (William Eythe) is contacted by Nazi spies working in New York City and looking for information on the atomic bomb program. With the help of the FBI, he becomes a double agent and a player in the deadly espionage game. Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia St. Clair co-star in this Oscar-winning wartime film noir that won acclaim for its documentary-style tone; look for E.G. Marshall and Vincent Gardenia (in their film debuts). 87 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono; audio commentary; theatrical trailers.
