Two young girls are abandoned by their mother, forcing them to get shuffled from the care of one elderly aunt to another. Enter Aunt Sylvie (Christine Lahti), a quirky, free-spirited young woman who lives by her own set of rules. Sylvie is a big hit with her nieces but her unconventional lifestyle doesn't sit well with social norms of their small, 1950s Pacific Northwest town. Sara Walker, Andrea Burchill co-star in this heartwarming comedy/drama, based on the novel by Marilynne Robinson. 116 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English.
