Between the years 1890 and 1921, a large influx of Hungarian immigrants came to the United States seeking a better life. Filmmaker Péter Forgács uses photographs, home-movie footage, and interviews to document the enormous struggles these brave men and women faced to not only escape their homeland, but to also integrate and assimilate into American society while chasing their dreams. 100 min.
