Jerry West McCarty grew up in a divisive, small Iowa town, as the only daughter of a well-esteemed public high school basketball coach. After his passing, she begins coaching youth hoops, but struggles to find acceptance in a town split by invisible, economic walls; one side sipping lattes, the other counting quarters. When the privileged, local private school coach begins to trash her family legacy, she challenges him to an alumni rivalry game: his recent State Championship winners against her late father's aging, former players.
