On the surface, it seemed like artisan Will (Zach Villa) had it pretty good, with a gig for a high-end pottery concern and a supportive boyfriend (Devon Graye). However, he also had the spectre of his upbringing with a mentally ill, abusive mother (Marlene Forte) who'd attempted to strangle him as a boy--and as she tried to re-insinuate herself in his life after decades, he may find himself on his own road to emotional collapse.
