In early-‘90s New England, Dominick Birdsey (Mark Ruffalo) had his crosses to bear--most of all, keeping an eye on his paranoid schizophrenic identical twin Thomas (Ruffalo, again). When Thomas does an egregious act of self-harm in protest of the Gulf War, Dominick may not be able to keep his personal house of cards from collapsing.
