Crook-turned-well-respected judge John Grey (Harry Shannon) finds his plans to establish a home for troubled kids put in jeopardy by Belle Bonner (Ona Munson), the owner of a gambling house who employs a pair of outlaws (Dick Purcell, Arthur Hohl) to dig up his honor's criminal past.
