This spicy musical comedy is set at the popular (at the time) Mexican resort Agua Caliente, where theater critic Larry MacArthur (Pat O'Brien) goes to escape his gold-digging fiancée. Unbeknownst to Larry, Rita Gomez (Dolores del Rio), a dancer he once trashed in a review, is performing there. Will Rita's desire for revenge lead to an unexpected spark with Larry?
