An ancient curse haunts a widowed mother and her daughter when they move back to the mother's childhood home, thirty years after a shocking event. When strange things start to happen, the daughter seeks answers from her mother and from the town, both of whom are holding on to their secret carefully, until her discovery of a forbidden book begins to unravel the terrifying answers. Unbeknownst to her, she holds the key to whether or not the curse continues, through her unborn child.
