Heartfelt comedy, with an Academy Award-nominated story, stars Victor Moore as New York City hobo Aloysius T. McKeever, who moves into the vacant 5th Avenue mansion of vacationing millionaire Mike O'Connor (Charlie Ruggles) for the winter. Aloysius winds up taking in an ex-G.I.
