Journey's End

Shipped to the French front line in 1918, young British officer Raleigh (Asa Butterfield) had his request met to be placed in the infantry command of his prospective brother-in-law, Capt. Stanhope (Sam Claflin). In the trenches, however, he discovered that the man he’d worshipped had become an embittered alcoholic, and that the conflict was far from what he had romanticized.
