From 1948-1955, Johnny Weissmuller swapped loincloth for khakis to play comic-strip hunter James Bradley in a series of popular Columbia Bs. Bradley leads a trek for a native potion that might be a polio cure in the franchise opener "Jungle Jim" (1948). George Reeves, Virginia Grey co-star. Jim has both hands full with a tribal tiger cult and stolen art traffickers in "Voodoo Tiger" (1952). Jean Bryson co-stars. Bradley’s efforts to shepherd locals out of range of an imminent A-bomb test runs into trouble in "Savage Mutiny" (1953). Angela Stevens co-stars. Jim squares off against a smuggler determined to control the world's diamond trade in "Jungle Man-Eaters" (1954) Karin Booth, Bernie Hamilton co-star. Weissmuller (self-billed in the last few series entries) deals with cobalt smugglers with a lethal way of covering their tracks in "Cannibal Attack" (1954). Johnny takes on an academic exploiting native superstitions in the series finale "Devil Goddess" (1955). 7 hrs. total on three discs. Standard/Widescreen; Soundtrack: English. Region Free
