Jeff Piccirillo (Jim Carrey) is better known to an appreciative generation’s worth of parents and kids as the kindly and iconic educational TV host Mr. Pickles. A year after a devastating personal tragedy, though, his struggles to cope privately and professionally weigh on himself, his estranged spouse (Judy Greer), and the producer dad (Frank Langella) and puppeteer sister (Catherine Keener) who depend on his franchise.
