ABC's hit "Far Eastern Western" aired from 1972 to 1975 and starred David Carradine (in a role originally planned for Bruce Lee) as Kwai Chang Caine, a half-Chinese/half-American Shaolin priest who wandered the American West in the late 1800s. Searching for the brother he never met, the pacifistic Caine would use his martial arts mastery to help those in need. Co-stars Radames Pera, Keye Luke, Philip Ahn, and James Hong.
