Everyone has heard of the famous Kiai, the legendary scream of martial arts. In fact, far from being a legend, the Kiai is a reality. If you know how to use it, it can actually be used to optimize the effects of your techniques. Jean-Paul Bindel introduces you logically and progressively to the martial art of sounds. He describes the body posture that must be adopted before using suitable screams, and distinguishes different sounds to be produced to achieve the desired effect. This sound method is known as Kiai Jitsu and is intimately linked to the Kyusho-jitsu, the martial art of pressure points.
