Stylish and poignant French actioner from writer/director Luc Besson focuses on Léon (Jean Reno), a lonely Italian hit man who lives in a cruddy New York apartment and works for a local mob boss. After 12-year-old neighbor Mathilda Lando’s (Natalie Portman) family is murdered by a corrupt DEA agent, she moves in with Léon and asks him to show her the tricks of his "trade" so she can one day exact revenge.
