This two-part documentary from Mexico─part of a larger multimedia project created by Catalan artist Mireia Sallarès─explores the phenomenon of the female orgasm by way of candid interviews with academics, prostitutes, nuns, activists, and women from other walks of life. Opening up to frankly discuss sexual taboos and how female pleasure can be connected to power, violence, politics, and death, these women deliver liberating insights on the compelling topic. 4 3/4 hrs. on two discs.
