Filmmaker Patrick Keiller and actor Paul Scofield team up for this eccentric, quasi-documentary tour of London. Keiller photographs the proceedings as "Robinson," an unseen observer accompanying his similarly invisible research companion, played by Scofield, who provides the film's sole narration.
