His second album following the breakup of The Velvet Underground, Lou Reed's 1972 "Transformer" set the tone for the Brooklyn-born punk pioneer's solo career with such songs as "Satellite of Love," "Vicious" and the surprise hit "Walk on the Wild Side." Hear from Reed, bassist Herbie Flowers and engineer Ken Scott on the album's creation, and see rare footage of a "glam"-era Lou performing solo and earlier with the Velvets. 50 min.
