You’d expect some affectations from the owner of a trendy L.A. nightspot, but charming Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) is who he claims to be...the actual Lord of Hell, on a working vacation. Inexplicably moved to help the LAPD solve the killing of a former "contractee," Lucifer opts to find diversion--and possibly redemption--by using his supernatural gifts to assist exasperated cop Chloe Decker (Lauren German) with her caseload. Darkly amusing procedural inspired by the DC/Vertigo comics also stars Kevin Alejandro, D.B. Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt.
