Picking up where "The Closer" left off, this TNT drama series finds the members of the LAPD's Major Crimes Division pressing forward in the wake of their chief's departure. Mary McDonnell returns as Captain Sharon Ryder, who now must earn the respect and trust of her fellow officers after she's placed in charge of the unit. Also reprising their roles from "The Closer" are G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz, and Phillip P. Keene.
