The slapstick artistry of French funnyman Max Linder is displayed in two of his American-made short films. Max takes on Dumas in the swashbuckling spoof "The Three Must-Get-Theres" (1922), while "Seven Years Bad Luck" (1921)─in which he's beset by a string of calamities after breaking a mirror─features Linder's famed mirror routine that inspired the Marx Brothers in "Duck Soup." 88 min. total. Standard; music score. Silent with music score.
