Set in 1937, this smart dramedy follows high schooler and aspiring actor Richard Samuels as he makes a day trip to New York City and unexpectedly gets cast by Orson Welles to be Lucius in the Mercury Theater's modern-dress production of "Julius Caesar." As Richard deals with his lack of professional acting experience, his encounters with Welles and an ambitious stage assistant change his life forever.
