On her deathbed, Cretan queen Pasiphaë (Tina Lattanzi) confessed to her daughter Phaedra (Rosanna Schiaffino) that she had a twin sister, Ariadne (Schiaffino, again), raised on the mainland to avoid her sacrifice to the half-man, half-bull Minotaur. Turns out Phaedra's not interested in sharing the throne, and wants her sibling to meet that very fate--can the hero Theseus (Olympic decathlete Bob Mathias) prevent it?
