Boston barber Joe Jenkins (Jack Haley) gets a chance to hobnob with high society when he’s tapped to pose as eccentric millionaire Aloysius P. Merriweather (Monroe Owsley) at an upscale dinner party. But an accident leaves Merriweather unconscious, forcing Joe to keep the charade going. Can he blend in with the Beantown elite or will his working class ways give him away?
