Jimmy Wakely, "Dusty" James, and "Lasses" White ride to uncover the sinister reason why, in "Riding the Dusty Trail" (1945). AKA: "Riders of the Dawn." Wakely, James, and White chip in to buy a ghost town, but when "Lasses" sells a controlling interest to crooked speculators, it's time to hit the "Lonesome Trail" (1945). When corrupt privatized lawmen start extorting ranchers in post-Civil War Texas, former Rangers Wakely and Dub Taylor go back to dispensing justice, in "The Rangers Ride" (1948).
