Carolyn Wonderland's 1st Album... 'Groove Milk' is how it all started... In 1993 Carolyn was living in Houston, Tx and recorded her 1st Album with her band at that time, the 'Imperial Monkeys'. The band was made up with Chris King on Bass, Little Screaming Kenny (Blanchet) on Guitar, Eric Dane on Guitar, Eric Kolflat on Drums, and Carolyn delivering her Smoking Vocals and Guitar. The album was Produced and Engineered by Richard Cagle at Hot Dog Studios. 'Groove Milk' was released right before Carolyn and Company made their 1st trip to SXSW to perform a Thursday night showcase at Antones... After that magical performance the stage was rushed with A&R folks wanting to meet Carolyn... The next day was filled with meeting with labels and publishing companies... it was her introduction to the music business... over the next few months, Carolyn was offered a publishing deal with Warner Chappell, a record deal with Giant Records and started working with the William Morris Agency. It was just the beginning of a long musical path that allowed her to tour the country and perform with some of the best Blues/Rock musicians in the world. In 1994 Carolyn released her 2nd Album, 'Truck stop Favorites Vol.2', which will be re-released in the near future...
