Mother and Child

Written and directed by Rodrigo Garcia, this ensemble drama concerns a 50-year-old woman, the daughter she gave up for adoption 35 years earlier, and an African-American woman looking to adopt. As they each attempt to find contentment and inner peace, they must all deal with professional and relationship woes. Along the way, their lives intersect in unexpected ways.
