Inspired by Gwen Davenport's 1947 novel "Belvedere," this fondly remembered 1985-90 ABC sitcom followed prim-and-proper English butler Lynn Belvedere (Christopher Hewitt) to the States, where he took a job as housekeeper to suburban Pittsburgh's Owens family: sportswriter and patriarch George (Bob Uecker); his law student wife Marsha (Ilene Graf); and kids, Kevin (Rob Stone), Heather (Tracy Wells), and Wesley (Brice Beckham).
