Comedian Brendan O’Carroll created and stars in this 2011-15 Britcom, based on his character Agnes Browne. Dressed in drag, O’Carroll plays Brown (the spelling changed for the TV show), the widowed, meddling matriarch of a large Irish family that also includes grown children Mark (Pat Shields), Rory (Rory Cowan), and Cathy (Jennifer Gibney), and father-in-law Harold (Dermot O’Neill). Paddy Houlihan, Martin Delany, Amanda Woods also star.
