Young friends Munyurangabo (Jeff Rutagengwa)─Ngabo, for short─and Sangwa (Eric Ndorunkundiye) embark on a journey of discovery as they leave the Rwandan village of Kigali with a stolen machete in Ngabo's backpack. Arriving at the home of Sangwa's parents, the two face a dramatic turning point in their friendship when Sangwa's Hutu father darkly regards Ngabo, a Tutsi, while Ngabo blames the father for the nation's 1994 genocide. Potent drama co-stars Jean Marie Vianney Nkurikiyinka, Narcicia Nyirabucyeye. 97 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: Kinyarwanda; Subtitles: English; bonus short "AlpTraum" (2008). In Kinyarwanda with English subtitles.
